Hospitality
The basis of Hospitality is 1 John 4:19. Our mission is to build fellowship and spiritual unity with our ACF family and friends. We do this in the means of newcomer goody bags, baked goods, half-sheets for notes on Fridays, greeting at the door, etc. We hope to create a loving and welcoming environment in order to cultivate genuine relationships.

Praise
The Mission of Praise Team is to train followers of Christ to learn to lead their lives to glorify God through their personal lives. Music worship ministry is just one aspect of the ministry; we believe the music worship part of the ministry will stem out of a Christ filled life. So we train in prayer and accountability both spiritually and physically. Music skills are great to have but we want to train people to learn all aspects of Worship in the Praise team including ppt, technical side of things, prayer and encouragement.

Small Group
Each year we set in place ministries that will help to grow and mature you as believers in your walk with Jesus Christ. One of the most vital ministries for your spiritual life and development is small group. When I began in campus ministry, my mentor shared with me that campus ministry revolved around small group, that it was the most important part of effectively training and growing students. I have come to learn during my years in campus ministry that he was exactly right.
Small group will help you to grow in God’s word, in accountability, in sharing your thoughts and heart, in learning how to pray for others and how to become burdened for one another. The list is innumerable as to the many things small group works to cultivate in your life. All in all small group will help you become a more committed believer in Jesus.
One last thing I have observed about small group is the blessings they provide beyond your time on campus. One of the most exciting things is that small group will help to prepare you for the future small group that you will find yourself in, your family. That’s why I am STRONGLY suggesting that you make a commitment to join a small group this semester. For some, it will be a very stretching experience, but life is filled with stretching experiences. It will cause you to become more open and even vulnerable to others. This is all a necessary part of life and for you to have effective relationships. I can promise you this; the investment that you make in small group will yield an amazing return that will perpetually bless your life. So go for it!!!

Prayer Meetings
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-8
Prayer meetings are a training ground to build up prayer warriors. Anyone can join. You will be stretched by learning about intercession, corporate, personal and fasting types of prayer. We pray for our mission field: the campuses, ACF, church, and salvation as we share the gospel through our personal lives to the unbelieving world. After, we go through personal prayer requests so we can pray for each other throughout the week.
Where: Conference Room (office level) at the University of Rochester Interfaith Chapel
When: Thursdays, 9pm
